Here's what Ray Radzewicz, the EVP of Sales at Luna Vineyards in Napa Valley and VP of National Sales at Majestic Imports, had to say about the wines he tried:
'One can tell that Brennan's passion for life comes through in his winemaking philosophy....
I. CINQ - love the fact that it was a 2009. This Argentine wine reminds me of why French Bordeaux (wines) are so popular. The blend of the 5 grapes created a very smooth, but elegant wine. The bouquet was full of plum, coffee, and spice. The blackberry fruit exploded in the palate with notes of dark chocolate and vanilla. Plenty of soft tannins to round out the long finish. Purchased 3 cases and my friends in the neighborhood loved it as well.
II. CON TACTO - the wines from Lujan de Cuyo in Mendoza, Argentina are always delicious (especially for the price). This Malbec is dark violet in color and the fragrance is filled with plum, cherry, and cassis. To me, a good wine has to have balance - and this wine has it. The full body is enhanced with the wine being unfined and unfiltered. It is also interesting that the name of this wine means "With Touch" in honor of his friend that is blind. Therefore, parts of the label is in Braille.'
